Trinity Lutheran Church is partnering with Grace Lutheran Church (Davenport), Zion Lutheran Church (Davenport), and Saint James Lutheran Church (Bettendorf) to host a weeklong VBS Day Camp open to kids ages 4 through grade 6! Camp Ewalu Staff will be with us leading games, activities, crafts, music, and more!
You can sign your child up at one of the links below. If you'll be coming to Trinity directly, use the Trinity link. A school bus will be picking up and dropping off children before and after each day of Day Camp at the other three partnering churches. Use those links if you will be there.
Each morning, counselors from Ewalu Bible Camp will lead children in worship, Bible Study, and games and crafts. Counselors will assist with fun and activities throughout the afternoon all week, as well. Campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle (with their name on it) for the week.
On the Monday afternoon of Day Camp, campers will be encountering nature around the Trinity Lutheran Church property with a tour of the grounds and help from the Nahant Marsh.
On the Tuesday afternoon of Day Camp, campers will be having a messy afternoon of science experiments, art projects, and tie-dye t-shirts
On the Wednesday afternoon of Day Camp, campers will be having tons of fun with WATER WEDNESDAY! Slides, water balloons, and more will be all around the Trinity Church area for fun. CAMPERS SHOULD BRING A SWIMSUIT AND TOWEL FOR WEDNESDAY
On the Thursday afternoon of Day Camp, the campers will help with service opportunities like assembling Baby Care Kits and Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief, helping in the Trinity Food Pantry, and helping make greeting cards.
On the Thursday evening of Day Camp, families and neighbors are invited for a FAMILY NIGHT including a hot dog roast, complete with campfire songs and skits from the counselors from Camp Ewalu. FAMILIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING SEATS OR A LAWN BLANKET AS WELL AS A SIDE DISH OR DESSERT.
On the Friday afternoon of Day Camp, the campers will have tons of fun with bounce houses, games, and more!
